How to get beach sand out of your car in St. Augustine

If you park on Anastasia Island, Vilano Beach, or Crescent Beach, sand is not a maybe. It rides home in the footwells, under the mats, in the seat tracks, and in the carpet pile where a household vacuum only moves it around.
Why a vacuum will not get beach sand out of car carpet
Dry sand sits on top. Wet sand and the fine stuff from the beach access packs down into the fibers. Once it’s in the pile, you need extraction — water, a dedicated tool, and time.
